Hansi Flick’s men had already won the Champions League, Bundesliga, German Cup, Uefa Super Cup, and German Super Cup last season.
Earlier, Tigres created history by becoming the first CONCACAF team to reach the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. They beat Palmeiras 1-0 to get the ticket to the final of the tournament.
Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski said, “It feels good to have the six titles in a row is something very special for us. I think this is one of the biggest achievements in football, how we played will be remembered for a long time.”
