The 16th Scholarship and Waiver Committee meeting of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) of Kadirabad cantonment area of Natore was held in the Syndicate Room on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Honorable Vice-Chancellor Brigadier General Md. Mijanuzzaman. The meeting was conducted by Assistant Professor Md Al-Amin, Student Welfare Adviser and Head of Department of Sociology.
In the meeting, students studying and admitted in the fall-2023 semester were given merit scholarships based on the waiver and final examination results of the semester in various categories. Merit scholarship, poor but talented quota, brother quota, freedom fighter quota, GPA 10 in SSC and HSC examinations, pet quota for serving and retired army, air force and navy are awarded merit scholarships and waivers worth more than 23 lakh taka in total six categories.
The meeting was attended by University Treasurer Colonel Md. Shaukat Hussain, PSC (retd.), Registrar Lt. Col. Sheikh Sani Mohammad Talha (retd.), Dean of the Faculty of Law and Head of the Department of Law and Judiciary Md Shahidul Islam, Dean of ECE Faculty and Professor of CSE Department Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhunya, Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department and Head of Department Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Acting SSO of Kadirabad Cantonment Major Md. Sajib Hossain ADC, concerned Heads of Departments, Proctor, Deputy Registrar (Academic).
