Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) has taken another significant step towards digitalization. From now on, applications for all university positions will be processed entirely online. The university administration hopes this move will ease the long-standing suffering of job seekers and bring greater transparency to the recruitment process.
On Monday, July 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan formally inaugurated the online-based application system, titled the Integrated E-Form System, at a ceremony held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat conference room.
Speaking at the event, Professor Dr. Bhuiyan stated, “This initiative will save both time and money for job seekers. I firmly believe that this digital system will lead our university’s recruitment process towards greater transparency.” He extended sincere thanks to all involved in making the system operational in a short time, especially the Director of the ICT Cell and his team.
Among others present at the event were Acting Registrar Agriculturist Dr. Md. Halal Uddin, Director of the ICT Cell Professor Dr. Md. Rostom Ali, Acting Director of the Public Relations and Publications Office Mr. Mohammad Toufiqul Islam, Additional Registrar Agriculturist Dr. Faruk Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain, and officials from the ICT Cell.
The ceremony concluded with the Vice-Chancellor officially declaring the launch of the online job application system.
