Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) unit on Sunday formed a human chain on the campus protesting against eve teasing and malpractice of politics over the country.
On Sunday at around 1:00pm, the BCL activists formed the human chain in front of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Auditorium of BAU as part of the seven day-long ‘Clean campus, safe campus’ campaign organized by central BCL at different educational institutes of the country.
BAU unit BCL acting secretary Orpy Hawlader conducted the programme.
In the human chain, the speakers urged all to come forward to stop the eve teasing and other unsocial activities from the campus.
Acting president of BAU unit BCL Wahab Rintu, in the human chain, asked the activists to protest mispublicity against the organization and to culture good quality politics.
BAU proctor Prof Dr Harun-ur-Rashid, Vice-president of BAU unit BCL Bijoy Barmon, Faruk Hossain, Joint secretary Apu, Riad and many more spoke , among others.
