BSS, Dhaka :
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has struck a partnership deal with NRB bank for availing special facilities for its members.
BASIS and NRB signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently for introducing two flagship offers for BASIS members which are exclusive start-up financing product “NRB Shuchona” and specialized corporate credit card services for commercial and enterprise purposes, said a press release.
The collaboration aims to provide BASIS members with easier access to financial resources, fostering entrepreneurship and supporting the growth of the ICT sector.
The agreement removed a significant barrier for start-ups by offering collateral-free loans, enabling quick and hassle-free funding to focus on business expansion and innovation.
Additionally, tailored corporate credit cards will simplify business expense management, covering costs such as travel, office supplies, and client engagements.
Rashidul Hasan, President of BASIS, said this collaboration would provide the members with unmatched financial tools to manage their businesses more effectively and scale in the fast-evolving ICT industry.
Shaheen Howlader, Deputy Managing Director of NRB Bank, said they are excited to partner with BASIS to empower start-up founders and tech entrepreneurs by providing dynamic, collateral-free funding opportunities.
