Chief Scientific Officer (Soil Science Division) Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr. Habib Mohammad Naser achieved “World Soil Day Award 2023” at the BARC Auditorium on Wednesday.
Minister of Ministry of Agriculture, Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, M.P was the chief guest while the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Wahida Akter presided over the inaugural ceremony. Vice Chancellor Bangladesh Agricultural University Professor Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury and Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Bokhtiar were present as special guests.
Dr. Habib Mohammad Naser has more than 64 publications in national and international reputed journals in soil science research on presence of heavy metals in food chain, remediation of soil-pollution, management of fertilizers.
