Bangladeshi film ‘Barir Naam Shahana’ has been selected to compete in the International Feature Film category of the 98th Academy Awards (Oscars). It will represent Bangladesh on the world stage as a foreign language film.
The Oscar Bangladesh Committee made this announcement at a press conference held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Saturday; Oscar Bangladesh Committee President Zahirul Islam announced the name of the film there.
