Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has celebrated the Great Independence and National Day-2025 (26 March) with due dignity and various programmes.
The day’s programs include hoisting the national flag at the time of sunrise, awarding the guard of honor and special prayers and illumination.
BARI Director General Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond inaugurated the day’s programs by hoisting the national flag fronts of BARI headquarter.
At this time, Director (Research) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad, Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Director (Oilseed Research) Dr. Md.Monirul Islam, Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. Faruque Ahmed, Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman, heads of the various division, leaders of BARI Scientists Association (BARISA), BARI Employees Welfare Society (BARIKA), BARI 4th Class Welfare Society (BARICHA), Diploma Krishibid Parishad, scientists, officers, employees and workers of all levels of the institute, teacher and students of BARI High School and Anand Shishukanan were present on the occasion.
