The banned and terrorist student organization Bangladesh Chhatra League again come into the spotlight over the ‘lockdown’ program announced in the capital.
Late on Tuesday night, the organization’s leaders and activists locked the main gates of five important buildings of Dhaka University.
The university administration said the locking incidents took place at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Institute of Education and Research (IER), Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences, Curzon Hall Gate and Science Building.
Various Awami League organizations and the banned Chhatra League are active in the field to make the ‘lockdown’ program successful on November 13.
Party sources said that violent activities and vandalism occurred in various places including the capital for five consecutive days from November 8 to November 12.
Mazharul Kabir Shayan, Dhaka University Chapter President of this banned Chhatra League president, posted pictures of the locked buildings on his Facebook page and wrote, “All day on the 13th, make the lockdown a success. Lockdown BSL-Faculty of Fine Arts, IER, Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, Curzon Hall Gate, Science Building, Dhaka University.”
Sharing the same picture, Jubo League central committee member HM Al Amin Ahmed wrote, “I found peace after seeing it! Lockdown at Dhaka University, BSL. All day on the 13th, make the lockdown a success.”
He also said, “Dhaka University is the cradle of all freedom struggles in this country. It must be freed from the hands of anti-liberation forces. Lockdown BSL, it has been locked.”
The general students of the university are angry for this agitated works and blaming the administration.
