Fact-checking platform, BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), has identified misleading news on health adviser’s speech regarding the tragedy of Milestone School and College, by a news portal named ‘Barta Bazar’.
According to a BanglaFact investigation report, Health and Family Welfare Adviser Nurjahan Begum participated at a programme titled ‘July Commemoration’ at the Shaheed Abu Sayed International Convention Center at Shahbag in the city on Monday, stated BSS.
Health workers involved in the service of injured July warriors took part at the programme.
Talking to reporters at the programme, Nurjahan Begum talked on several issues, including the fire at a restaurant in Nimtali or Bailey Road in the city.
