Bangladesh Women’s Football squad off to Jordan

Bangladesh Women’s Football squad left the city on Monday to play FIFA International Friendly matches against Indonesia Women’s Football team and Jordan Women’s Football team at Jordan.
Bangladesh women will take on Jordan women in the first friendly match on May 31 and Bangladesh women will face Jordan women on June 3. All the matches will be held in Amman, the capital city of Jordan.
It may be mentioned that a total of 30 members consist of Bangladesh Women’s Football squad. Off them, a number of 23 booters have been included in the squad and rest of the seven members are coaching staff.
After playing the two FIFA International Friendly matches, Bangladesh Women’s Football team will take part in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.
Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bahrain, Turkmenistan have been billed in Group-C of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. The Group-C matches of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers will start on June 29. Myanmar Football Federation is the host of the Group-C matches of AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.
Bangladesh will take on Bahrain on June 29, Bangladesh will play against Myanmar on July 2, Bangladesh will meet Turkmenistan on July 5.
Bangladesh Women’s Football squad: Rupna Chakma, Meghla Rani,Ferdousi Akter Shonale (goalkeepers), Sheuli Azim, Shamsunnahar Sr, Afeida Khandaker (Captain), Joynab Bibi Rita (defenders), Monika Chakma, Maria Manda, Munki Akter, Sapna Rani, Kohati Kisku, Halima Akter,Shanti Mardi (midfielders), Ritu Porna Chakma, Tohura Khatun, Shamsunnahar Jr, Mosammat Sagorika, Shaheda Akter Ripa, Sauravi Akonda Prity, Mosammat Sultana, Nobirun Khatun and Umehla Marma (forwards).
