Bangladesh Women’s do-or-die match against Pakistan today

Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will take on Pakistan in their do-or-die match of the ICC Women’s World Cup (ICC) Qualifier at Lahore City Cricket Association Ground in Pakistan today. The match will start at 10:30am (Bangladesh Standard Time). Two teams from the qualifier will qualify for the ICC Women’s World Cup. If the match washes out by rain, Bangladesh will qualify for the ICC Women’s World Cup.
Pakistan women gained eight points from four matches. They have a net run rate of 1.098. Pakistan have already qualified for the ICC Women’s World Cup.
On the other hand, Bangladesh women bagged six points from four matches. They have a net run rate of 1.033.
Scotland women collected four points from four matches. They have net run rate of 0.136. West Indies earned four points from four matches. They have net run rate of -0.283.
The match between Scotland and Ireland was rolling till filing this report.
If Bangladesh win over Pakistan then, they will qualify for the ICC Women’s World Cup. If Bangladesh lost to Pakistan in big margin and if Scotland could beat Ireland in a huge margin they have a chance to qualify for the ICC Women’s World Cup. Scotland have to gain a better net run rate than Bangladesh. Besides, West Indies will face Thailand on Saturday. If the Caribbean women can beat Thailand in a massive margin, they have also a chance to qualify for the ICC Women’s World Cup.
Bangladesh made a formidable start in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier thrashing Thailand by 178 runs in their first match on April 10. Skipper of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team Nigar Sultana Joty hit a captain’s knock of 101 in that match.
The Tigresses kept their winning streak beating Ireland by two wickets in their second match on April 13.
Bangladesh retained their supremacy defeating Scotland by 34 runs in their third match on April 15. But Bangladesh lost to West Indies by three wickets in their fourth match on April 17.
