Bangladesh Women’s Cricket squad reached Sri Lanka on Tuesday to take part in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.
A total of eight teams dividing into two groups will take part in the upcoming Asia Cup. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand are in Group-B, while India, Pakistan, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are in Group-A. Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka on July 20, the Tigresses will take on Thailand on July 22, Bangladesh will meet Malaysia on July 24.
Top two teams from each group will move into the semi-finals of the Asia Cup. The two semi-finals will be held on July 26. The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on July 28.
