Bangladesh Women’s Football team have improved their position, according to the latest FIFA ranking, which was revealed on Thursday. Earlier, Bangladesh’s position was 133 in the month of March. It is a good news that the Bangladesh women advanced five steps. Their have taken the 128th position.
Bangladesh Women’s Football team played two FIFA International friendly matches against Jordan Women’s Football team and Indonesia Women’s Football team recently. The Bangladesh women drew with Jordan women and Indonesia women in Amman of Jordan recently. So, Bangladesh women have advanced five steps from their previous position.
Bangladesh Women’s Football team will take part in the upcoming Asian Women’s Cup Qualifiers. Bangladesh have been billed with hosts Myanmar, Bahrain and Turkmenistan in Group-C. If Bangladesh can emerge the Group-C champions, Bangladesh will play in the final round of Asian Cup Qualifiers. In that case, Bangladesh women will improve their FIFA rankings. It may be mentioned that United States of America retained their top spot according to the latest FIFA ranking.
