Bangladesh runners-up in SAFF U-17 Champ

Bangladesh Under-17 Football team finished runners-up in the SAFF Under-17 Championship after tasting a 0-2 goals defeat by India Under-17 Football team in the final on Monday in Changlimithang Football Stadium in Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. By virtue of yesterday’s victory, India emerged the champions in the meet.

Earlier, India beat Bangladesh in their Group-A match at the same venue on September 20. After a barren first half, India scored the two goals in the second half.
