Bangladesh Krishi Bank holds branch managers, field officers’ Confce

The Branch Managers and Field Officers’ Conference 2025 was organised by Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Madaripur Chief Regional Office at the Integrated Government Office Building, Lakepar, Madaripur recently .
The conference was attended by Mohammad Moinul Islam, General Manager of the Faridpur Divisional Region, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, as the Chief Guest. Special Guest Md. Azizur Rahman Fakir, Divisional Audit Officer, Divisional Audit Office, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Faridpur, was present. The program was presided over by Kazi Mohammad Nazre Moin, Chief Regional Manager, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Chief Regional Office, Madaripur, says a press release.
Also present were Alauddin Ahmed, Regional Audit Officer, Regional Audit Office, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Madaripur, along with Mohammad Wahiduzzaman, Assistant General Manager, Chief Regional Office, and all branch managers and field officers from the 16 branches under Madaripur Chief Region.
Chief Guest Mohammad Moinul Islam, General Manager, Faridpur Divisional Region emphasized strengthening loan recovery from defaulted borrowers, presented his action plan on the matter, and instructed branch managers and field officers to strictly implement it. At the same time, he highlighted the importance of mobilizing low-cost/no-cost deposits and gave necessary directives. He also mentioned that Bangladesh Krishi Bank has significantly reduced its losses compared to previous years and will soon become a profitable institution.
Special Guest Md. Azizur Rahman Fakir, Divisional Audit Officer, Faridpur stated that all types of banking activities are currently operational in Krishi Bank. He cautioned that immediate action should be taken if customer service is hampered or any customer faces harassment. He stressed the importance of improving customer service quality and ensuring that no customer is harassed under any circumstances. Additionally, he emphasized providing professional banking services.
Chairman of the Conference, Kazi Mohammad Nazre Moin, Chief Regional Manager, Madaripur stated that Bangladesh Krishi Bank is a bank of the common people, with general farmers being its main group of customers. Therefore, they must not face any kind of harassment. He instructed branch-level officers to maintain customer-friendly banking services while keeping in line with the country’s ongoing economic progress. He also directed them to support small and medium entrepreneurs in the Madaripur region by disbursing loans on easy terms, thereby contributing to the advancement of both the bank and the nation.
