Bangladesh Independence Cup Volleyball Champ begins tomorrow

The Turkish Airlines Bangladesh Independence Cup Volleyball Championship will begin tomorrow at the Shaheed Nur Hossain National Volleyball Stadium.

In this regard, a press conference was held at the Shaheed Nur Hossain National Volleyball Stadium on Thursday. President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Faruque Hasan, General Secretary of BVF Bimal Ghosh (Bhulu), Representative of Turkish Airlines Ejaz Kadry were present at the conference, among others.

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation will arrange the volleyball meet under auspices of Turkish Airlines.

Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud will inaugurate the volleyball competition tomorrow as the chief guest.

A total of eight teams will take part in the five-day long volleyball competition. They are: Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Power Development Board, Titas Club, BKSP, Bangladesh Prison team, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP and Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest on the concluding day (April 23).
