Bangladesh’s first-ever international-standard digital skills competition, vTutor Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Bangladesh Championship 2025, was officially launched today at East West University, Dhaka. Organized by vTutor Bangladesh in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this national-level championship is open to students aged 13 to 22 across the country.
Modeled after global Olympiads, the competition will be held across six major universities in Dhaka in three categories. The participating universities are: University of Dhaka, University of Business and Professionals (UBP), East West University, American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), Independent University Bangladesh (IUB), and United International University (UIU).
At the divisional level, the top three performers in each category will be selected as “Champions.” From there, the top 10 participants will be shortlisted for the national level, where they will receive the opportunity to earn official Microsoft Certification.
In addition, from among the longlisted candidates (LS), the top 3 will be selected for a special Gala Round, preceded by a grooming session to enhance their skills. The winners of the Gala Round will represent Bangladesh at the international Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship to be held in Florida, USA.
The opening ceremony was graced by Kazi Shamim, Co-Founder and Chief Training Officer of vTutor Bangladesh, Muttaki Faruq, Co-Founder and Chief Academic Officer, along with 15 vTutor volunteers and IT staff members from East West University’s computer lab.
