Bangladesh Hockey team reached Jakarta of Indonesia on Tuesday to take part in AHF Cup Hockey Tournament. The tournament will be held on April 17 to April 27 in Jakarta.
Bangladesh,Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka have been billed in Group-B. Bangladesh will take on Kazakhstan on April 18, Bangladesh will face Indonesia on April 20, Bangladesh will meet Thailand on April 22, Bangladesh will play against Sri Lanka on April 23.
Reigning champions Bangladesh became champions for four consecutive times. Bangladesh will play two warm-up matches in Jakarta. Ace hockey player Pushkar Khisa Mimo will lead Bangladesh Hockey team.
Mimo said, ” Oman will be our main opponent. We can face Oman in the final. If we beat Oman then, We shall bring the championship trophy in our country.”
