Bangladesh Football team will face Hong Kong Football team in their away Group-C match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup Qualifiers at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong today. The match will kick-off at 6:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). According to the latest FIFA rankings, Bangladesh have taken the 184th spot, while Hong Kong have taken the 146th position.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh faced Hong Kong in three matches. Of them, Hong Kong won all the matches.
Hong Kong led the Group-C points table of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers grabbing seven points from three matches. Singapore took the second position gaining five points from three matches. India took the third position collecting two points from three match.
On the other hand, Bangladesh took the bottom position with one point from as many outings.
Bangladesh played a goalless draw with India in their first match at Shillong in India on March 25.
The red-and-green outfit lost to Singapore by 1-2 goals in their second match at National Stadium in Dhaka on June 10.
Bangladesh tasted a thrilling 3-4 goals loss to Hong Kong at the same venue on October 9.
