Bangladesh Cricket team will take on England Cricket team in a warm-up match at Guwahati in Assam today.
The Day/Night affair will start at 2.30pm(Bangladesh Standard Time).
The match will be a 50-over-a-side game. The warm-up match will be held marking the upcoming ICC World Cup.
Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in their first match of the ICC World Cup at Dharamsala in Himachal Province on October 7.
Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in their first warm-up match at the same venue on September 29.
England’s first warm-up match was against India on September 30, but the match ended with no result due to the rain.
Jos Buttler will lead the team in the ODI World Cup 2023, and they are expected to qualify for the final.
The key players of the England are Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Moin Ali, David Willey, and Mark Wood.
Bangladesh will likely play this match under Miraz, as Shakib Al Hasan could not take part in the second warm-up match.
Shakib also missed the first warm-up match against Sri Lanka on September 29.
The left-arm ace all-rounder got injury, while he was playing during the practice session. Bangladesh have a good chance to perform well in this tournament in the Indian conditions.
The ICC World Cup will start at the different venues across India from October 5. A total of ten teams will compete in the gala extravaganza in round-robin league basis of the first phase. Top four teams will get tickets of the semi-finals.
Top team will take on the fourth-place decider team in the first semi-final, while the second-place achiever team will face the third-place earner team in the second semi-final.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final. The final will be held on November 19.
