Bangladesh ease past Bhutan in FIFA Int’l friendly 2-0

Bangladesh Football team eased past Bhutan Football team 2-0 in the FIFA International friendly match at the National Stadium in the capital on Wednesday. It was an almost one-sided affair and Bangladesh won the match as they deserved it.

Hamza Choudhury made his home debut with a happy note as he put his team ahead by a header using right side corner of his teammate Jamal Bhuyan in the 6th minute of the play.

After the lemon-break, Sohel Rana made it 2-0 by a sudden power-packed 25-yarder in the 49th minute of the match.

Earlier, Rakib Hossain’s shot bounced back after touching a Bhutanese defender in the third minute and Jamal Bhuyan got the ball at the D-box of Bhutan but his shot passed away the sidebar.

In the 30th minute, Fahamedul Islam’s shot was thwarted by Bhutanese goalie Gyeltshen Zangpo.
After five minutes, Rakib Hossain back pass a cross of Taj Uddin and Jamal Bhuyan got the ball on his way but his shot was gripped by Bhutanese custodian.

In the pre-lemon session, Bhutan failed to make any notable move.
After the lemon-break, Rakib Hossain failed to put the ball into the blank net from a handshaking distance in the 51st minute of the match.

Substitute Morsalin’s shot was deflected by a Bhutanese defender in the 62nd minute of the game.

Topu Barman’s bicycle kick was gripped by Bhutanese custodian in the 65th minute of the clash. Substitute Foysal Ahmed Fahim’s shot was saved by Bhutanese custodian in the 89th minute of the game.

Bhutan got only one chance in the second-half, Jigme Namgyal’s kick was saved by Bangladesh goalie Mitul Marma just before the dying moment.
