Bangladesh and Denmark have further strengthened their cooperation on sustainable and safe food production in Bangladesh by signing a government-to-government cooperation agreement on Monday.
The two countryes have a good and long-standing diplomatic relationship, and ensuring safe and sustainable food production in Bangladesh has been at the core of the collaboration.
With this strategic sector cooperation, Denmark supports Bangladesh to ensure safe and efficient milk production in the country with the aim of becoming more self-sufficient in milk production, says a press release.
Dairy production is an important economic activity in Bangladesh, providing 3.6 million households with supplementary income.
