The Bangladesh Debate Federation (BDF) has launched its flagship programme, School of Debate (SOD) 2025, aimed at fostering logical thinking, knowledge building, and public speaking skills among students from grades 6 to 10.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Bishwo Sahitto Kendro Auditorium in Dhaka, attended by notable guests including former BDF President Dr Abdun Noor Tushar, Bulbul Hasan, Hasan Mahmud Biplob Babu, former General Secretary Asif Newaz, and UK Redbridge Council Cabinet Member Syeda Saima Ahmed.
Designed to be dynamic and interactive, SOD 2025 offers 18 online sessions to ensure accessibility for students nationwide, including those in rural areas. The curriculum caters to both beginners and experienced debaters, creating an inclusive platform for skill development.
Organisers said the initiative will help prepare a new generation of confident speakers capable of engaging in constructive dialogue on national and global issues.
