Bangladesh crush Zimbabwe by 162 runs

Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe in the second test of three-match series by 162 runs at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Friday. Bangladesh won the three-match series against Zimbabwe by 2-0. Zimbabwe scored 151 runs losing all wickets on the day while in the series Shakib Al Hasan has taken his 10th wicket creating history in the test cricket. Shakib is only the third player overall after Imran Khan (1983) and Ian Botham (1980) to score a hundred and take 10 wickets in the same match. Earlier on the day, the Tigers set Zimbabwe a target of 314 runs on the fifth day of the second test. Both Zimbabwean openers Chari and Sikandar Raza were removed before lunch. Spinners Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam took the wickets. Mahmudullah scored 71 runs, Shuvagata Hom 50 runs, and Mominul Haque 54 runs to give Bangladesh a big score. Bangladesh on Friday lost the wickets of Mahmudullah, Taijul Islam, Shahdat Hossain and Shuvagata Hom.
