Bangladesh, China Sign 9 instruments

Bangladesh and China signed nine instruments on Friday, including one agreement on economic and technical cooperation and eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering various sectors such as cultural heritage, media, news exchange, sports, and health.

Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abdul Kalam Azad Majumder, confirmed the developments, reports BSS.

Additionally, five announcements were made to initiate formal negotiations on investment.

Among the signed agreements, one pertains to the commencement of the China Industrial Economic Zone, while another involves a commercial agreement for the modernization and expansion of Mongla Port.

Furthermore, instruments were signed for the establishment of a robot physiotherapy and rehabilitation center and for the donation of a cardiac surgery vehicle.
