Bangladesh-China Green Textile Expo held

The inauguration ceremony of “Bangladesh-China Green Textile Expo – BCGTX 2025”, the most specialized international exhibition on the green textile industry, was held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city’s Kuril area on Thursday.
The exhibition has been organized by Savor International Limited, co-organized by the Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB), with BGMEA and Shanghai Climate Week serving as associate partners.

Focused on sustainable and eco-friendly textile technologies and innovations, the exhibition brings together renowned textile and garments companies from Bangladesh and China, along with investors, technologists, and business representatives, reports press release.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest His Excellency Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador, People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh.

Special Guests included Mr. Mijanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Brigadier General S M Zahid Hassan, Chairman, Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC), Mohd. Khorshed Alam, President, Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI).
Han Kun, President, Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB), Guan Jie, Executive Secretary General, Shanghai Climate Week Executive Committee, Prof. Fu Jiajia, College of Textile Science and Engineering, Jiangnan University, Ge Zhenyu (Mike Ge), President, Textile & Garment Branch, Chinese Enterprise Association In Bangladesh (CEAB), and Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director, Savor International Limited.
The exhibition features eco-friendly and recyclable textile technologies, along with B2B meetings, seminars, and panel discussions, with active participation from leading entrepreneurs of both China and Bangladesh.The exhibition is open to all visitors from Thursday, daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
