Renowned film producer Ehsanul Haque Babu recently took center stage as a judge at the Bangladesh Achievers Award 2024 organised by the prominent real estate company Natundhara at a luxurious venue in Dhaka recently, said a press release. This year’s awards celebrated excellence across multiple sectors, including film, drama, music, OTT content, advertising, and fashion.

Babu’s selection as a judge adds significant prestige to the ceremony, thanks to his esteemed career in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry. A trailblazer in both film and advertising, his work has set new standards for creativity and quality. Babu’s experience and insight are expected to play a key role in recognizing and honoring top talent at this year’s event.

Known for producing Rehana Mariam Noor, the first Bangladeshi film to compete at the Cannes Film Festival, and Live from Dhaka, a critically acclaimed film that won a Meril Prothom Alo Award, Babu has long been at the forefront of Bangladesh’s film industry. In addition to his filmmaking accomplishments, he has produced over 500 commercials, working with some of the country’s biggest brands and further solidifying his influence in the media landscape.

Alongside Babu on the judging panel were two other respected figures: legendary singer Khurshid Alam, a household name in Bangladesh’s music scene, and Masid Ronno, a leading entertainment journalist and media coordinator for the awards. Together, the panel brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the task of selecting the winners across a broad range of categories.
