Bangladesh ‘A’ Cricket team will take part in the Asian Cup Rising Stars, which will be held in Doha, the capital city of Qatar from November 14 to November 23. Asian Cricket Council (ACC) revealed the fixture on Friday. The tournament will roll on T20 format.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups compete in the prestigious cricket meet. They are Bangladesh ‘A’, India ‘A’, Pakistan ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Afghanistan ‘A’, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and Hong Kong, China.
Bangladesh ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Afghanistan ‘A’ and Hong Kong, China are in Group-A, while India ‘A’, Pakistan ‘A’, Oman and UAE are in Group-B.
Pakistan ‘A’ will take on Oman in the inaugural match on November 14.
Bangladesh ‘A’ will face off Hong Kong in their first Group-A match on November 15, Bangladesh ‘A’ will meet Afghanistan ‘A’ in their second Group-A match on November 17, Bangladesh ‘A’ will take on Hong Kong in their third Group-A match on November 19.
Top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals. The two semi-finals will be held on November 21.
The winning teams of the two semi-finals will get tickets of the final. The final will take place on November 23.
