The sound of breaking again is ‘Chirkutt’ band. Emon Chowdhury broke his long-term relationship with ‘Chirkutt’ last year. Another important member of the band, Jahid Nirob, left the band this time.
In 2015, Jahid Nirob started his journey with Chirkutt by playing the harmonium in the song of
the movie ‘Aynabaji’. Finally, he ended his nine-year journey with this band.
Rumours of Jahid Nirob’s release were heard for a long time. He was not seen playing with Chirkutt at the Army Stadium concert in Dhaka on the last 21 December.
Before this, he was not with the Victory Day concert and Chirkutt in London on December 16. After finding out, Jahid Nirob is no longer with Chirkutt.
Rumour has it, Jahid Nirob didn’t leave the Chirkutt, and he was kicked out of the band. He refused to comment on this matter. However, he did not deny the fact that he was not in Chirkutt.
For the past few years, Jahid Nirob was busy with the band as well as his solo career.
He is doing music for various advertisements, web contents, and movies. Although he did not talk about Chirkutt, he told about the current busyness.
Jahid Nirob informed that currently, he is doing music in Amitabh Reza’s web series titled ‘Bohemian Ghora’. He also lent his voice to a song in this series.
In addition, he has film and advertising work. He recently started a music school. He has
big plans for this school.
Earlier, its founding member Pintu Ghosh left the Chirkutt band in November 2016 after
14 years of its establishment.
At that time, it was informed by Chirkutt, the key to building a single career has been agreed to Pintu Ghosh to build a separate career based on mutual discussion.
But Pintu Ghosh said that he left the team not because of his solo career, but because of other reasons. Even after the departure of Emon Chowdhury’s band last year, the same reason was given by Chirkutt.
Chirkutt’s new song has been released amid the news of the breakup. The song titled ‘Jana Holo Na’ was released on the group’s Facebook page on Monday.
Sharmin Sultana Sumi wrote the lyrics, and composed melody and also lent her voice of the song. Pavel Areen was in the music and sound producer of the song. Chirkutt’s fourth album will be released next year.
