The Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested a UP member also drug peddler along with 710 liters of distilled liquor from his house at Shahpur village undet Dighirpar Union in Bajitpur Upazila of Kishoreganj. The arrested UP member has been identified as Dalim Mia (28) son of Khurshid Mia.
Tipped off, a team of DB conducted a drive and arrested along with 710 liters of distilled liquor and recovered. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kishoreganj, Mohammad Russell Sheikh, PPM (Bar), BPM (Sheba) said that, there are two more fugitives involved in the incident. A case under Narcotics Control Act has been registered against the accused in Bajitpur police station. Efforts are on to arrest them, SP added.
