BAIRA Life Insurance appoints Jaynal Abedin as CEO

Third generation life insurer BAIRA Life Insurance Company Limited has recently appointed Md. Jaynal Abedin Bhuiyan as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
Abedin has been in the life insurance industry for more than 22 years in leadership positions of such areas like; Sales & Distribution Management, Training & Development, Market Expansion in Urban & Semi-Urban areas, and Strategic Business Planning.
Prior, he was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of National Sales’ at the
Bangladesh operation of the global life insurance giant MetLife and also held different senior positions like, ‘Training Manager,’ ‘Deputy Agency Director’ and Director- Agency Distribution’ at MetLife. During the tenure at MetLife, he developed close professional relationship with the field force and had proved himself as a motivational leader helping MetLife Bangladesh ensure sustainable business growth, said a press release.
