Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon started her career in showbiz from the stage of the Lux Beauty Contest. Over time, she has added numerous dramas and web films to her portfolio.
She has also left her mark on the big screen; she has won the National Film Award in recognition of her acting.
However, this actress stands out not only for her acting but also for her looks. Even after 40 years, she continues to spread unwavering fascination among her fans. There is no hesitation in her bold presence; she has maintained her brilliance in her looks along with keeping herself fit through hard work.
Recently, the actress shared the story of her fitness journey with her fans; sharing her experience of going from 78kg to 60kg.
The actress surprised everyone by sharing separate pictures on social media, showing the difference in her transformation.
Saying that this path to weight loss was not easy, Badhon wrote, “78kg to 60kg – I did it! This journey was not easy. My weight had increased as a result of mental health struggles, unhealthy habits and neglecting weight gain due to genetics. But with the right doctor’s guidance, discipline and confidence, I was able to lose 18kg in just 6 months.”
The actress said her biggest strength was her daughter. She inspired her to exercise, stay away from junk food, and believe in herself every day.
She added, “It’s not just about losing weight – it’s also a symbol of healing, strength, and self-esteem; I’m still moving forward.”
However, Badhon’s efforts and weight loss have left his die-hard fans quite shocked!
Currently, director Tanim Noor is busy with his new film ‘Banolata Express’. It is based on Humayun Ahmed’s novel ‘Kichhukkhon’.
Badhon said that her daughter encouraged her to act in this film. The actress said, “I really like the producers and co-stars of this film.
When Tanim Noor mentioned this character, my daughter said, ‘You do it.’ Because I’m always seen in serious and depressed characters and everyone knows how much I like Humayun Ahmed. After many years, I am getting the opportunity to work on his story. This is something special for me.”
