Badhan witnesses election mechanism in 2018, 2024

Popular actress Azmeri Haque Badhan made explosive comments about the elections.

She herself said that she was a ‘witness to manipulation’ in the 2018 and 2024 elections, and even participated in it.

On June 1, Badhan wrote in a status on her verified Facebook page, “I myself witnessed the corruption and rigging of the 2018 and 2024 elections.

To be honest, I was a part of it, because I was involved in the campaign at the time and was very close to some important people in the last government.”

She said that she saw up close how the ruling party used every institution for its own interests.

In her words, “It was unfair, immoral. It has damaged the democracy, destroyed public trust, and placed a permanent strain on the future.” The actress also has a message for the new government.

She said, “This time, I sincerely hope that the government will choose a different path based on impartiality, transparency, and accountability.
A fair election is not just a demand of the people – it can be a gift
for the country.”

Finally the actress wrote, “We have transparency, we have accountability. We have a future that is built on truth, not manipulation.”
