Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) plays a unique role in ensuring sustainable agricultural security, said BADC Chairman Md. Ruhul Amin Khan on the occasion of the 64th founding anniversary.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion session held on Thursday, at the Agriculture Building seminar hall, Md. Ruhul Amin Khan highlighted BADC’s vital contribution to developing efficient agricultural management to secure sustainable agriculture, says a press release.
The Chairman emphasised that agriculture is the backbone of the country’s economy and without it, self-sufficiency is impossible.
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, BADC relentlessly works to sustain agricultural management. The corporation has significantly expanded its scope and operations compared to before, providing high-quality seeds, balanced non-urea fertilizers, and irrigation facilities directly to farmers’ doorsteps.
He urged all officers and employees to demonstrate honesty, dedication, and increased responsibility, calling for their active role in further strengthening BADC as the genuine friend of agriculture and farmers.
