Auto-rickshaw driver found dead in Sylhet

An auto-rickshaw driver was found dead at Tukerkandi village in Biswanath upazila on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Swapan Jahangir, 27, son of Imanul Haque of Alunia village in Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district.
Police said being informed by locals, police recovered the body from the bank of the Basia river and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Family members of the deceased said Jahangir went to Biswanath with passengers on Wednesday night and since then he had remained missing.
The body bore several injury marks, said police.
