Asia Insurance PLC has approved 10 percent Cash Dividend for the year ended December 31, 2024 in its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually by using Digital Platform recently.
The meeting was presided over by the company’s Chairman. Mohammad Mustafa Haider and a large number of shareholders participate virtually in the meeting. The Company’s Managing Director & CEO. Md. Imam Shaheen spoke in the meeting, says a press release.
During the year, the Company earned a gross premium of Tk. 813,260,714/-, profit before tax was Tk. 154,297,509/-. Company’s total assets at the end of the year stood at Tk. 2,336,609,541/-. A good number of Shareholders participated in the discussions through using digital platform and expressed their full satisfaction with the performance of the Company amidst challenges and hurdles.
