Rangpur Riders’ head coach Mickey Arthur has addressed concerns about managing the workload of pacer Nahid Rana during the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The 24-year-old has been a standout performer, playing six consecutive matches in just 11 days, sparking discussions about the potential impact on his fitness.
Arthur highlighted the challenges of workload management for a young talent like Nahid, who has quickly become one of Bangladesh cricket’s most promising players. While resting him has been considered, Arthur is cautious about disrupting the team’s balance as they continue their unbeaten run in the tournament.
“We’ll see what happens. Resting players and managing their workload is always tricky. Nahid is only 24, and he’s already exceptional. If we find an opportunity to rest him, we will, but it’s difficult to decide right now.” Arthur said.
