A children’s art exhibition was held recently at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy initiated by retail super store chain, Shwapno. A total number of 550 paintings were part of the exhibition.
Children not above 12 years of age were the participants of this exhibition.
A number of paintings done by children under the age of 4 were also placed. The best nine paintings out of the lot were selected by renowned painter Hashem Khan and Sabyasachi Hazra.
These selected nine painters were awarded before the inauguration of the exhibition. Former advisor of the Caretaker government Rasheda K Chowdhury and the Executive Director of ACI Logistics Ltd, Sabbir Hasan Nasir were also present in the award giving ceremony. High officials of ACI Logistics Ltd were also present on the occasion. n
