TV drama actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba is also working with great success in web content. He started
working in movie with ‘Gangster Return’ in 2015.
However, after that one, he was not seen acting in any other movie of Bangladesh.
In September last year he entered Tollywood.
Apurba is debuting in Tollywood with West Bengal director Pratim D. Gupta’s movie ‘Chalchitra’.
Although the shooting of the film was completed last year, no information about the release of the movie was available until now. Finally, the good news came.
The producer of the movie, Firdausul Hasan, said that this investigative thriller based movie will
be released in theaters in West Bengal on the Christmas Day this year.
It will feature four actors – Tota Roy Chowdhury, Anirban Chakraborty, Shantanu Maheshwari and Indrajit Basu playing the roles of policemen.
There are also Raima Sen and Swastika Dutta.
The first look of the characters was released
yesterday. Apurba is seen in red Punjabi, cheeky beard. He is looking curiously.
It is known that Apurba acted in a mysterious role in the movie ‘Chalchitra’. Director Pratim D. Gupta informed that the story of the movie is centred on the city of Kolkata. One by one girls are being killed in the city before Durga Puja.
A group of officers from the intelligence branch of the Kolkata Police started investigating this serial killing. While investigating, it is seen that the way the bodies are being arranged after the murder and a twelve-year-old case is found to be similar. A mysterious man lends a helping hand to unravel the mystery. Apurba is in this role.
Regarding talking about acting in this movie, Apurba told this correspondent, “It’s a thriller.
A kind of hide and seek game will continue throughout the story. It is forbidden to say anything about the story. Let’s just say, great story and a great team. We have worked in excellent environment. I am very happy to be involved in such a great work. I want to pray to everyone that I can keep the quality of Bangladesh with my performance and win the hearts of the audience.”
Director Pratim also said, “Although ‘Chalchitra’ is a thriller, more importance has been given to family relationships and emotions. Special attention has also been given to the action of the movie.”
Producer Firdausul Hasan said, “Basically, I wanted to make ‘Chalchitra’ like a cop movie. Entertaining movies, along with that will spread the web of mystery. Action director Pratik Parmar was brought in from Bollywood. As a result, many new techniques have been used in this movie in terms of action, which the audience will like.”
The music of the movie is directed by Debojyoti Mishra. Artistes like Usha Uthup, Iman Chakraborty, and Rupam Islam have given voice to the song
of this movie.
