Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba and rising star Naznin Nahar Niha teamed up for the first time for a drama. Directed by Jakaria Showkhin and co-written by Showkhin and Nasir Khan, the drama
is titled ‘Mon Duari’.
The drama was filmed over 13 days in locations including Dhaka, Nawabganj and Rajshahi.
While talking about the drama, Apurba said, “Niha has great potential to go far. She’s eager to learn and improve her acting skills, which is one of her standout qualities. This quality alone is enough to propel her forward. Niha has performed so exceptionally in this drama that you will need to watch it to believe it.”
Actress Niha shared her feelings by this way, “I’ve always wished to act alongside Apurba Bhai and that vision has now come true. I’m truly happy. Apurba Bhai and Showkhin Bhai have been supportive throughout the project. I gave the project my all.”
Director Jakaria Showkhin said, “The Valentine’s Day special releases are usually made in a similar style, but the story of our project is entirely unique. That’s all I can say for now. Once one watches it, they’ll get proof.”
The drama ‘Mon Duari’ revolves around family dynamics amid a love story.
In the plot, Apurba’s character returns home from New York to take his grandmother, but family tensions arise.
During this time, he meets the charming and mischievous character played by Niha.
As their relationship grows, love gradually blossoms between them.
Niha’s character, with her sweet nature, unlocks the depths of the heart of the main man, leading him to call her ‘Mon Duari’, meaning the key to his soul.
In addition to Apurba and Niha, the drama also features performances by Dilara Zaman, Aminur Rahman Bachchu, Shafiul Alam Babu, Mili Munshi, Sharmin Sultana Shormi and Raisa.
‘Mon Duari’ includes two songs: the first, composed by Sajid Sarker, with lyrics by Someshwar Ali and vocals by Kona and Rehaan Rasul.
The second song, written by Limon, features music by Nazir Mahmud and is voiced by Sajib Das.
The drama titled ‘Mon Duari’ will be released on the CMV YouTube channel on February 14, in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
