Popular television actor ZiaulFaruqApurba returned to Bangladesh on Tuesday after spending 7 months and 10 days in the United States.
His return was confirmed through a post on Apurba’s official Facebook page. There, he shared a photo taken through an aeroplane window and wrote just one word: ‘Returning…’ – a single word that conveyed his feelings about coming back.
Previously, on December 26, 2024, Apurba had travelled to the United States, intending to take a break from his long-acting career and spend quality time with his wife and family. Notably, Apurba’s wife, ShammaDewan Trisha, resides in the US. They also have a son named Ayash.
This was not the first time Apurba visited the US. Back in November 2021, he went there and returned two months later. However, this recent trip was significantly longer and mostly spent away from acting.
After a few days of rest in Bangladesh, Apurba is expected to return to shooting. Reportedly, he will resume work with the second season of the acclaimed web series GolamMamun, directed by ShihabShaheen. The first season, released in 2023, was met with great enthusiasm from viewers.
Apurba played the lead role of GolamMamun – a portrayal of an ordinary man entangled in a complex web of political and familial struggles.
