A six-judge Appellate Division Bench led by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan gave the order on Sunday.

Senior advocate Ahsanul Karim told the newsmen, “It’s been quite a long time that he (Ashraf) has been delivering false and insulting remarks pointing at some of the justices, judges and lawyers. A few lawyers filed contempt of court against him. The court, after hearing our application today, summoned him to clarify.”
