On Monday, from 3 pm, the District Administration, Feni, under the “Narcotics Control Act, 2018”, conducted a task force operation with the participation of the Narcotics Control Department, Feni, District Police, Feni, Railway Police Division, Feni, DB, Feni, Feni District Ansar members at Ilu Road, Sweeper Colony, areas adjacent to Sahadebpur railway line, Fatehpur Rail Gate etc.
The operation was led by Ashok Bikram Chakma, Senior Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, District Administration, Feni, Md. Jasim Uddin, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate, Feni Sadar Upazila, and Faraz Habib Khan, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, District Administration, Feni.
Searches were conducted in suspicious, drug-prone and crime-prone places during the operation. The task force could not recover any narcotics, but the locals have been made aware of this.
