An anti-corruption discussion meeting and quiz competition was held in Gafargaon, Mymensingh, with the aim of creating public awareness and motivating students to practice honesty.
The event was organized by the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee at the Tetulia High School auditorium of the upazila on Thursday.
Hundreds of students from various secondary educational institutions of the upazila participated in the event.
President of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Dr. K. M. Ehsan presided over the event, and Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission Mymensingh Divisional Office Mohammad Tajul Islam Bhuiyan was the chief guest.
The event, moderated by Rafiqul Bashar, General Secretary of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, was attended by Md. Rezwan Ahmed, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission Mymensingh.
District Office, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mofakhkharul Islam, Khairullah Government Girls High School Headmaster NurunNahar, FazlurRahman High School Headmaster Mohammad Alauddin, Tetulia High School Headmaster NurunNahar, among others.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the quiz competition.
