Another corona death has occurred in Khulna. On Thursday (July 31) afternoon, a young man named Md. Rahman (25) died while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Khulna Medical College (Khumec) Hospital.
A day earlier, on Wednesday (July 30) morning, an old man named Ratikant Dakua (85) died while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital’s corona unit.
Dr. Khan Ahmed Ishtiaq, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Khumec Hospital and focal person of the corona unit, said that a young man named Md. Rahman was admitted to Khumec Hospital at 11:30 pm on Wednesday.
He died while undergoing treatment in the red zone of the corona unit at around 2:30 pm on Thursday.
He is the son of Md. Anwar, a resident of Royer Mahal area of Harintana in Khulna metropolis. With this, four patients have died at Khulna Medical College Hospital this year.
