The 5th Annual General Meeting of Baraigram Upazila Diabetic Welfare Association of Natore was held at the association’s hospital, Bonpara, under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous and moderated by Md Solayman Ali on Monday. The meeting was addressed among others by former Upazila Vice Chairman Abdul Hakim, Nagar UP Chairman Mostafa Shamsuzzoha, former Secretary of the association Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Engineer Nurmohammed Al Mamun, former Principal of Ahmedpur Degree College Asad Uz Zaman, Principal of Bonpara Islamia Fazil Degree Madrasa Moazzem Hossain, President of Baraigram Smart Press Club Alhaj Saifur Rahman.
In the latter half of the meeting, the association’s nominated Election Commissioner and Upazila Agriculture Officer (Acting) Md Mahadi Hasan announced the names of the 9-members of executive committee elected for a two-year term of the association. They are: President – Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jannatul Ferdous, Vice President – Alhaj Mohibur Rahman, General Secretary – Alhaj Akbar Ali Mridha, Treasurer – Saiful Islam Babul, Office Secretary – Bir Muktijoddha Moslem Uddin, Executive Members – Dr. Waliul Islam, Professor Lutfar Rahman, Rahmat Ullah and Solaiman Ali.
