It is said that this generation’s musician, Ankon Yasmin, has started living permanently in USA with her husband.
Ankon was also honoured as a musician at the ‘Dhallywood Awards’ ceremony held in USA a few days ago.
However, the first song Ankon sang after moving to America was finally released yesterday on a YouTube channel. The title of the song is ‘Asmaner Chan’.
Suhel Khan wrote lyrics of the song while its tune was composed by singer Ankon herself. And music was composed by Ankon’s husband Avijit Jitu.
Rahat and Mim are the models in the music video of this song. The music video for the song was directed by Salman Ahmed Sohag.
Reagrding talking about her newly released song, Ankon Yasmin told this correspondent, “I really liked the title of the song, ‘Asmanaan Chan’.
I also really liked the lyrics. That’s why I really enjoyed composing the song.
Since the song’s melody was composed by me, and Avijit did the work with great care, I’m optimistic about the song.
I give thanks lyricist Suhel Khan for trusting me. This was my first job after coming to USA. So, I have a special love for this song.”
Meanwhile, the song ‘Aamar Golar Har’ was released on May 15 with
a cover by Ankon’s voice.
The music arrangement of this song is done by Avijit Jitu. Meanwhile, Ankon has impressed everyone present by performing at a programme organised by the Gopalganj Association in the USA.
She expressed her sincere gratitude and love for AZM Ahmed.
Meanwhile, the singer went to Hollywood for the first time in her life a few days ago.
Ankon also expressed her deep gratitude to Mohammad Ali.
A few days ago, Ankon’s mentor (guru) Shafi Mondal went to America. She said that she had a great time with her guru at various shows during that time.
Ankon’s dream was to learn guitar. She wanted to learn how to play the guitar from the late Lucky Akhand. But when she became very interested in
learning, Lucky Akhand left this world. So, that dream of Ankon was never fulfilled.
