Several newcomer actors of this generation are working tirelessly to establish themselves in the drama arena of Bangladesh. Some of them are doing quite well. Anika Aaira is one of them.
Her full name is Anika Benty Kamal Aaira. She is studying English literature in a private university in Dhaka.
A few years ago, Anika Aaira started her work with photo shoots and modeling in the media with great love for acting. Then her chance to act came by acting in a drama under the direction of Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz.
Because of Raz’s media acceptance as a director, Anika Aaira caught the eyes by acting in dramas directed by him. Title of that drama was ‘Moner Sathi’.
However, by acting in another drama of the same director, Anika came into the discussion again.
The title of the drama was ‘Like Father Like Son’. Tamim Mridha acted opposite Anika in the drama.
Then Anika Aaira was seen in Maruf Hossain Sajib’s dramas ‘Aamar Bou Sob Jane’, and ‘Ami Ekhanei Thakbo’, Rubel Anush’s drama ‘Dekha Howar Kotha Chhilo’, Muhammad Miftah Anaan’s drama ‘Apon Je Jon’.
Anika’s natural acting in these dramas impresses the audience. This increases her confidence in her performances. That’s why Anika is very optimistic about the finished drama titled ‘Kath Golap er Biye’.
Md Farid Uddin and Swapnil Chakraborty wrote story of this drama while Md Farid Uddin gave direction of it.
Anika confirmed that the drama will be aired on Valentine’s Day.
While talking in this regard, Anika Aaira told this correspondent, “Thanks to Raz Bhai, because of him my beautiful journey in the world of acting started. By acting in two dramas directed by him, I got quite a response in the first year of 2022. I got a good response for the next dramas. However, the story of the drama ‘Kath Golap er Biye’ and my character are excellent in one word. The story is actually so wonderful that I was very engrossed in my character during the shooting. Even after shooting I was just immersed in my character. That’s why I am very optimistic about this drama. Honestly, I am more focused on acting now. I have great interest in learning acting from senior artistes. I don’t know how the future will be, but my desire to be a good actress is my dream. I want everyone’s prayers and cooperation in this matter.”
Meanwhile, Anika Aaira has already completed Adnan Saikat’s drama ‘Poribar Porikolpona’.
Hailed from Bhola, she is the daughter of Mostafa Kamal and Khadiza Akhter. She has two younger sisters. June 6 is Anika’s birthday.
