Angelina Jolie to lead film ‘Anxious People’ adaptation

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is gearing up to lead the cast
of the film ‘Anxious People’.
According to a report by Deadline, Marc Forster, known for hits like ‘Stranger Than Fiction’ and ‘World War Z’,
is set to direct the movie based on Fredrik Backman’s acclaimed novel of
the same name.
Jolie will portray Zara, an uptight investment banker who unwillingly ends up among a group of strangers during an apartment open house held just before Christmas Eve.
Events take a wild turn when a hesitant would-be bank robber accidentally
holds the attendees hostage.
What follows is a whirlwind of disorder, unexpected confessions, and unfolding secrets, as nothing goes according
to plan.
The novel was previously brought to the screen as a Netflix series in 2021.
